The criminal court sits. Edward Corbet is sentenced death by hanging for the theft of the frock. Samuel Peyton is sentenced to death by hanging for stealing from Lieutenant Fuzer's marquee on the night of the Fourth of June. His trial has been delayed while he recovers from the head wound he received when caught in the act by Captain-Lieutenant James Meredith.
