Birthday of King George III. The Sirius and the Supply each fire a 21 gun salute at sunrise, noon and sunset. The garrison fires three rounds at noon. Half a pint of rum is issued to each male convict and a quarter pint to each female convict. The convicts celebrate round a large bonfire.

Governor Phillip grants full pardons to Henry Lovell, Joseph Hall and Daniel Gordon

John Morris searches John Kelly's chests and finds his missing frock.

Captain-Lieutenant James Meredith surprises Samuel Peyton in his marquee. The intruder is taken to the hospital unconscious, and with a badly cut head.
